This is in dedication to Kayla *kaymicrager

These are an assemblage of fractal images that incorporate images as drawn by me and as drawn by my good friend *kaymicrager

I used the ~JoelFaber version of Apophysis for this, using his Image variation. I've since had LOTS more fun with this variation and I will have a few more works as created with this feature.

As to the title and the use of the word Nathifa:

My friend *kaymicrager, her name is Kayla.

The name Kayla is from Greek. Its meaning in English is Pure.

In Egypt, the meaning equivalent name is Nathifa.

So, to my friend Kayla, with memories of an older age, when she would have been named Nathifa and been no less pure.




N.B.

Just to mention these things.

1. Egyptians liked symmetry.
2. These images have no historical significance in the arrangement I have placed them otherwise.
3. The text image of her name is in the Coptic font, this being the last used alphabet by the Egyptian people in the first century A.D. This scripting was then used by the Christian empire and there is a linguistic tale that follows but isn't relevant at this moment.
